The most interesting parts of the future are already being tested in scattered pockets around the world: fast-changing cities, new kinds of communities, and different ways to live and work.
So I don’t only make films about places. I spend time inside them, meet the people building them, and try to understand what the headlines leave out.
Sometimes that means documenting what I find. Sometimes it means bringing people together and helping build the next experiment.
